HOW SOON CAN A JOB GET STARTED? 

ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. employs professional full-time painters. Once a job has been contracted, it can usually be started within a couple weeks. Depending on the time of year, backlogs can vary. In most cases, we are able to accommodate most time frames. Work is usually performed during a normal work week Monday through Friday. No job can be started without a signed contract and deposit.

Once ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. begins work on your job, a crew will be there on consecutive days until your job is completed. Although most jobs can be completed in a few days and some smaller homes in just one day, crew size and product drying times will determine how long each project takes to complete.

ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. requires payment in full upon completion of the job and when you are satisfied. We do not normally bill you. Arrangements should be made to pay the job foreman upon completion. Our company accepts personal and business checks.

ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. only paints on days that are suitable for paint. Your job is fully warranted and we will not paint in conditions that may jeopardize this warranty.

It is a good idea to provide sufficient access to all areas of your home being painted. This includes trimming plants and shrubs, moving potted plants, patio furniture, tools, etc. On interiors, you should take down all wall hangings, window coverings, and knickknacks. Clean out any entertainment centers, hutches, or book cases.

Providing clear access for our crew, it will allow ZV Painting to do a more complete and thorough job. This also makes the job site a safer work environment. You should also make arrangements to have any pets looked after during the job. If you need help with heavy or high items please ask.

Leaving a job clean is very important to all of us at ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. All materials used during the job will be removed. Paint scraping and dust will be swept from walkways, driveways, decks, and interiors vacuumed, etc. Any spills are cleaned thoroughly. Our goal is to leave your home looking like new.

Not necessarily, but we recommend it. We prefer that you watch our work in progress so we may answer any questions. We do require access to electricity and water. All doors will need to be open during the painting process and left open 3 to 5 hours to dry properly.

If you are unable to be home, we can make special arrangements with you. We do require owners to be home at completion of the job.

All products used by ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. are of top quality. We use products from major manufacturers like Kelly-Moore, Benjamin Moore Paints ®, and Sherwin-Williams. We use many products from several companies because each job is different. This way we are able to provide the best products for your job. 

When we are finishing your job we encourage our clients to do a walk through with our foreman. This is the perfect opportunity for us to take care of any last minute touch ups that may be required.

On exterior, we have found that the average paint job lasts around 10 to 12 years.

Interior paint varies depending on how you take care of your home. ZV Professional painting &  Decorating Inc. warranties all work for 4 years. We have a full time warranty department should you have any problems.
